Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield returns to Earth tonight, ending a five-month shift aboard the International Space Station.
The Sarnia, Ont.-born Hadfield has been aboard the space station 400 km above the Earth since Dec. 21 when he arrived by a Russian Soyez TMA-07M, the same vehicle that will return him down to solid ground in Kazakhstan about 10:31 EDT, ending Expedition 35.

Hadfield, 54, was commander of the $100 billion station – a first for a Canadian – until Sunday when he turned the job over to Russian cosmonaut Pavel Vinogradov.

A jury was chosen (yesterday) in the $40 BILLION civil lawsuit over the death of Michael Jackson that pits the pop star’s mother, against concert promoters AEG Live.
After a month-long search for a jury, six men and six women were seated to hear what could be an emotional three-month trial that will revisit the checkered life and 2009 death of the “King of Pop” on the eve of a planned comeback.
Jackson’s 82-year-old mother, Katherine, is suing AEG Live, the promoters of the never-realized series of 2009 London concerts, for the wrongful death of her son. The lawsuit alleges AEG Live was negligent in hiring Dr. Conrad Murray to care for the singer while he rehearsed for a series of 50 shows.

Christina “Chrissy” Amphlett–frontwoman for the Australian rock band the Divinyls, died Sunday at her home in New York. Amphlett was 53 years old.
Amphlett’s husband of 14 years, former Divinyls drummer and multi-instrumentalist/producer Charley Drayton, confirmed in a statement that the charismatic singer died after battling multiple sclerosis since 2007, and breast cancer since 2010. “Chrissy’s light burns so very brightly,” Drayton stated. “Hers was a life of passion and creativity; she always lived it to the fullest…With her force of character and vocal strength she paved the way for strong, sexy, outspoken women.”
Drayton also revealed that Amphlett had “expressed hope that her worldwide hit ‘I Touch Myself’ would remind women to perform annual breast examinations.”

Former Olympic swimmer, Ryan Lochte, was interviewed by a Philadelphia morning show, to promote his new show that will air on MTV.  This is priceless.
